As I type this there are 112 backers and $3,043 funding - the project is now funded for production. Congratulations!

You guys are awesome.
11.5 hours and we've funded already.

Some notes from my prior work:

Thus far, we've raised more in the first day than each of my first three Kickstarters.

It took 18 days for Dungeon Grappling to raise more than $3,000, and that was for 5e, The Pathfinder RPG, and Swords and Wizardry, which together comfortably occupy 80-90% of the RPG market.

It took almost the entire campaign - 24 days - to hit over $3,000 for the adventure Hall of Judgment is based on: Lost Hall of Tyr

Dragon Heresy, a 288-page full RPG based on 5e . . . well, it did do $4400 by day 2. I wonder if we'll beat THAT too?

Also: there are, thus far, two print copies ordered for each PDF. My best-ever prior was 1:1, and 2:1 PDF:Print is not uncommon. You guys really want hardcopy. I do not blame you.

Well, we're in it now. There's still more coming, as alluded to in the prior update, in terms of potential reward levels and nifty stuff. Mostly, though, the big stretch goal revolves around the question of*how many print copies will be ordered?

The print quality upgrades are strictly volume-based, within reason (I like nice books and I cannot lie, so I often cheat when it comes to that).

But the money thus far means I can start talking to Glynn Seal about even more maps, likely four more (a zoom in around the Hall itself, two monster lairs, and a creepy ruin).

But really what this means? It's time to get to work. I've got a Fantastic Dungeon to make for y'all.

Thanks again!

Speaking of Dungeon Grappling (which I'll be introducing to my D&D only group in Encounters next week), seeing it referenced both here and on the Kickstarter page, I would seriously throw money at you for a DF version so fast it would make your head spin.

I know we have TG but I want something simpler for DF.

And congrats on funding. I'll definitely be chipping in.

I'm super-excited about this! It's great to see how fast the goal was hit - I'm a very keen supporter in principle, and by the time I even got to my computer to become a supporter in practice, the goal had been passed already. Wonderful!

Looking forward to seeing how things develop.

There is exactly that in this adventure.

Quoted for Truth. The DFRPG version of the grappling rules are going to probably fit on 3-4 pages. They were tested pretty well in one campaign, both with me involved and recently they've gone through some blindtesting as well, to good results.

I noted this on my blog, but now that it's morning:

The KS surpassed $4,700 during the night. That means in 24 hours:

* We have surpassed the 2-day funding total for Dragon Heresy, my last Kickstarter. That one was for a 288-page hardcover printed game based on 5e, which currently has seized 60% or so of the market.

* We are $100 away (about four pledges) from surpassing the *entire* Dungeon Grappling KS campaign total

* We have crushed the original Lost Hall of Tyr campaign total ($4,000) like a grape.

* The pledges are STRONLY favoring print. Like 2 Print (plus PDF) for each PDF. The pledge average is close to $30 due to the small but vital number of "Styðja" patrons that throw in $100

Phil posted a link to the campaign in the DFRPG Kickstarter itself this morning. That's nearly 1,600 folks that I don't necessarily have contact with.

No podcasts have been (yet) done, but some are scheduled. I have a few things I might add to the campaign (I noted this in my first update) but I need to look carefully and ensure I can deliver everything.

Look for more news on the above later this week, probably heading into the first weekend.

I just pledged, making this my first time backing anything on Kickstarter! (I missed the DF RPG one).

It was simple. I didn't even have to check my email and for a confirmation letter or wrestle with captcha.

Hope this goes really well! Third-party stuff for GURPS is my #1 desire.

Small but important caveat: It's FUNDED.

It won't be a success until I deliver what I promised.

I do, however, thank you in the spirit with which your well-wishes were offered! It's very exciting to see such interest in Hall of Judgment, and I do hope it paves the way for this to not be the only one out there.
