Adrenaline wears off after HTx2 seconds and you suffer Partial Injuries penalties until HP is healed. But I think those are mostly designed around using the limb and wouldn't cover lacking it.
Anyone with a severed limb would probably gain that disadvantage where you have an open wound that needs to be regularly treated. I'm not sure where to find rules on pain during medical treatment. I just watched the film "Stronger" about a guy who lost legs in Boston Marathon bombing and it makes you appreciate how painful it would be to have bandages changed on a severed limb. |

Is Partial Injuries something in Martial Arts? I've not seen it in Basic.

Yes, it gives penalties for body parts damaged, but not crippled, after the adrenalin of a fight wears off. It's on p. 136.
