Continuing southward by moonlight, you travel through the wee hours with no worse encounters than spooking a few abnormally large rodent-like creatures that seem quite unthreatening.
Just before the sun breaks the horizon, you check the view from atop a treeless hill. To the south you can definitely make out the sheen of big water, and to your immediate east you get a good view of the misty swampland. The low lands around here are all quite marshy, but the hills seem to form a bulwark against the swamp and the land to the west appears dryer, although still covered with a riot of growing grasses and small trees. The humidity is suffocating and you're already covered with bug bites, on top of the fatigue from the march through the night. Dawn, the Trent Delta, Roses 7 2512 |

Finding a fair campsite among some trees on a nearby hill, you are grateful for the rest, but quickly become possessive of your precious few yards of cotton. As the heat and humidity rise, the air is filled with millions of tiny buzzing things... and quite a few uncomfortably large buzzing things.
(Observation rolls would be good, and Astrid can attempt an IQ roll as well.) |

OOC: sorry guys been busy...Rorik would've mentioned the foot prints, that he is convinced theya re besitals and that they should follow and perhaps ambush them....we can assume everyone voted that down and we continued southward.
