Re: Day 1:OCC
I know Trent is in all likelyhood about to get into combat but for the moment Greg is focused on getting supplies for his family. He may grab a taser and run out to help if there is a commotion outside.

And give me a moment to figure out what is present in the store. This is a Hunting and survival store, not to sure that tasers would be sold there. Also I am not deciding for you what you are taking. The whole what ever seems practical to take, wont work You need to decided once I come up with a store list(which will be shortly) what you want to take. I am not deciding for you. |

Okay no problem. I just need to know what is available, how much it weighs, etc.

Gun wise same thing be reasonable. In WA state there is not much in ways of restrictions when it comes "assault weapons" but Machine guns and automatic fire arms, Short barrel rifles/shotguns are off limits without a permit, SO it is safe to say that he would not carry these kind of weapons in the store. Pistols are good to go again machine or auto weapons are not for sale with out a permit so he would not just have these around. |

Re: Day 1:OCC
Okay, I'll put together a wishlist from High-Tech and you can just let me know which parts of it are in the gun store and Greg can keep his eye open for the rest going forward.

MREs (HT 35). Candles (HT 51). Cord and Rope (HT 56). Sleeping Bags (HT 56). Tents (HT 57). Zip Ties (???). Gasoline (HT 16). Encumbrance notes: If we did manage to put this together I think it would put me in medium encumbrance with the backpack. If I leave that in the vehicle (or drop it) I think I would have no encumbrance. If Alice or Victor end up encumbranced I might be able to move food and parts of their mess, grooming, and first aid kits to my pack and/or vest to relieve them (and keep their run speed up). I think all of the stuff I want to carry in LBVs and backpacks (and a lot of the other stuff) could be found in an REI (except the Crash Kit) but I definitely don't expect Greg to be able to find all of this stuff right now. Or even exactly this list ever (even if he does do a lot of looting). I think it is maybe a bit overboard but at least it gives you a good idea of what he's looking for. EDIT: Oops, it looks like TL 8 Clothing is half weight (HT 65). (Fixed)

Re: Day 1:OCC
Also looking at the map of the compound it looks like we have everything we need here...food...gas...vehicles...guns...a fence with barbed wire....guns...why leave unless we really really have to. Nothing has indicated we have to leave just yet. Just saying
