Default Maximum HP or Current HP in Slam, Shock, Wounds, etc.

There are at least a few cases where HP shows up in formulas, the most notable being slam (B371), shock (B381,419), crippling injuries (B420-421) and major wounds (B381,420). Does HP mean the current HP (which changes during combat) or the maximum HP (generally fixed, although spells like Might on M37 can change it). It seems that crippling injuries and major wounds are generally interpreted to use maximum HP. Is the same true for shock and slam?

Specifically, should a heavily injured man be able to slam as well as an uninjured man? He weighs the same amount, so the momentum should be comparable (ignoring the amount of moves one can take). And should the someone with 20 maximum HP take shock at -1 per 2 damage for the first attack, and then -1 per 1 damage after that?

Maximum HP for all cases.

Unless limbs have been removed or mass otherwise lost, I can pretty much guarantee max hp should be used for slam. HP is just used as a simple stand in for mass where slams are concerned.

Yes always max HP.

For slams, remember that if you are wounded enough to take you below 1/3 HP you have half move, which means your maximum slam-value will be lower.
