Ok, then. That's idiotic, but it's Star Wars, so yeah.

No Life Support wouldn't be in any way relevant there, since it's a modifier for habitats.

A faithful rendition of a TIE fighter would probably have Occ 1SV all the same, but not provide the limited life support that Spaceships allows. It might have Occ 1 instead, if the cockpit is open to space (which would again be stupid, but...Star Wars.) I don't think that Occ 1S makes any sense for a space vehicle. Sealed without Vacuum Support usually means that you're drawing air through some sort of filter system, which would be dead weight on a space fighter.
