Riding the Game Store Owner
As a ranger, you may discard X cards to tame a monster, where X is the number of treasures it has.
The Game Store Owner has 1d6 Treasures. Does one roll to determine how many treasures he has for the purposes of taming him, and if so, is that amount of treasures that he has for the purposes of defeating him, or do you roll again once he is defeated? |

Re: Riding the Game Store Owner
Taming and defeating monsters are mutually exclusive, so you should never need to roll for both at the same time. Yes, you roll 1d6 to determine how many cards to discard for the GSM.

Re: Riding the Game Store Owner
Hmmmm. Remember that the Treasure count is the Monster Steed's bonus, so you'll have to keep some kind of marker on it that can't be easily modified. Unless, Andrew, you were intending to rule that you roll for every combat in which the Game Store Owner is used as a Steed.
