In the future, if there is demand, we will explore producing the minis in other colors.
Please consider just going with the classic, Iconic colors as a priority. Even if you must do the only black or grey first and then if successful, can offer more colors, at least offer those two colors in every unit that is made available...and then see about those goofy colors like GITD, green, ect.

...Combine RED and Federation BLUE...

When you have a mixed bag of incomplete colors available (which is the current state of OGREaffairs) , especially missing some of those Reds and Blues, Imho, you are going to be putting people off that simply want a faction specific color that has been in the game since it's inception.

If the project is successful, we will have the tooling and then be able to explore other color options in the future.

Please note that if this campaign is successful, the minis will cost more in the future. If you're interested in adding these to your army, now is the time to take advantage of the crowdfunding prices.
I'd rather pay SJG more in the future than pay Indiegogo anything now.

At least neutral colors can be used with any faction. I love more black/Nightfall colors, but would love to see red/blue/green myself. I think that, with patience, we'll see SJG find a way to expand the palette.

Obviously there's a lot of discontent with Indiegogo out there. However, belaboring the point isn't helping anyone and it certainly isn't doing anything to make these minis happen. At this point, y'all may consider the "Indiegogo is bad" message sufficiently delivered, and from this message forward, it's off-topic.

If you don't want to engage with the campaign, that's your call, but we're going to keep talking to the people who do.

With respect Phil, please tell us that you've looked into those poorly made main batteries from Set 2. I think someone on the forums here called them "short shots": where the maker doesn't use enough plastic or enough pressure, and it only fills up the bottom half of the mold? 3/4th of my Set 2 Ogre mains are only half there and need putty work to view from the side. Wouldn't want that to happen again...

That is very exciting and good news!

And I expect there are still a number of folks who are just waiting for the next payday to roll around since IGG charges up front.

That is precisely correct. At least in my case.

If you received malformed miniatures from the Set 2 Kickstarter, please email kickstart@sjgames.com with pictures of what your figures looked like so we can follow up. But let's keep further discussion of that Kickstarter on that thread, thanks.
