Oh, yes - there's already a catpeople/bunnypeople feud in the setting's background. Is there an easy game-mechanic way to simulate this?

(Social Stigma doesn't seem right - it's only the catpeople who dislike the bunnypeople because they're bunnypeople, and vice-versa, and even there it isn't universal. Normal humans - still the vast majority of sophonts in the setting - either ignore the matter or dislike all bioroids/biomodifications/bio-whatevers equally. But it is common enough that any bunnyperson or catperson should expect to encounter it when dealing with the other sort of biomodified beings, and this particular character's in a position where she meets strangers on a regular basis.)

Reputations limited to a small set of people, probably. You can use Enemy if it's more serious.

I'd represent it the other way round; Stick Intolerance (Bunnypeople) on the cats, and Intolerance (Catpeople) on the bunnies, and allow buying off the disadvantage.

But that still doesn't solve the problem of bunnies having issues in cat bars, and kitties not being invited to Hugh Hefner's next party.

When I think of bunnies, I think of Bully. They often attack each other's young, and use their legs to claw weaker bunnies in the community. Bunnies are actually quite vicious. Oh, and how about a bite attack? a bunny can chew through a table leg.

Probably not Combat Reflexes. In fact, they are quite fearful. Combat Paralysis is perhaps extreme, but does kind of capture their tendency to hide, even sitting still in an obvious location in an open area, when a more fierce animal would run or fight.

I was thinkging the bunngirl (1) perq would be a no muss no fuss way of dealing with the template. :)

The -1 to -5 reaction penalty from people you're intolerant to, (plus the -3 from their intolerance towards you, for a net -4 to -8) isn't large enough to represent that?

I make that an average of... At best a 6 (Bad), at worst a 2 (Very Bad). Especially considering the 'attack or refuse to associate on poor or worse' caveat made in the description of the disadvantage.

Combat Reflexes mostly means that you react faster and better. It doesn't mean that your fast reaction can't be to quickly decide that you will stay still or run away. Suppose Bunnygirls have Cowardice [-9] [-20] and Combat Reflexes [15].

This will give them a -3 to all Fright Checks where physical danger is involved from the Cowardice and a +2 to Fright Checks from the Combat Reflexes. The net result is a -1 to Fright Checks related to physical danger, and a +2 to other Fright Checks.
