New minis in the near future?
Just saw this in an official SJG email
“ New Ogre Miniatures coming soon to BackerKit Crowdfunding.” I really wish we could add pictures and attachments directly on this forum. https://www.backerkit.com/call_to_ac...?ref=home-page

Re: New minis in the near future?
Well, I don’t see the Combine command post in that image, and I was really hoping for both missile crawlers.

Re: New minis in the near future?
Maybe stretch goals?
Edit: Also, Ninja, MK III-B. Maybe buildings as STL files...

Re: New minis in the near future?
How did I miss the Vulcan? Durr.
Also, STL file for the train. (Somewhere in the bowels of Steve Jackson Games, someone is reaching for their blood pressure medication.)

Re: New minis in the near future?
Note the wording in the splash ad:
"The fourth and final wave of high-quality plastic Ogre miniatures!" Further reinforced in the body text: "Gear up for one final mission with the fourth and final set of plastic Ogre miniatures." Bolding mine. |

Re: New minis in the near future?
Yep. That's why I'm so hoping for stretch goals. Either minis or STL files.

Re: New minis in the near future?
Do we know if the minis in the splash screen are the new plastic ones or metal?
If they are metal we may not be looking at the actual product line. I suppose we will know when it launches in December but it would be nice if SJ games would post some sort of update about this. Any way this has been a long time coming and very exciting! |

Re: New minis in the near future?
IIRC, there were 3D printed versions of the minis made to test the files before they made the hard dies for the injection molding process.
