Not so unlimited power has however resulted in terrifying effects such as seeing the party roundly defeated by dinner plates, beavers, and a river

Or fumbling a spell and thinking they were a squirrel

True, but when the name of the game is "unlimited cosmic power" you'd expect more folks to at least get to "semi-phenomenal cosmic power." It was refreshing.

Sure, man. Not a problem.

It's possible they assumed they'd end up with unlimited power anyway, and all they were choosing was how broad their powers would be. When you're new to a game, being a specialist cuts down the amount you have to learn immediately.

GURPS101: Air College Spells for Sorcery

Today's short and crunchy and full of air - it's all about air college spells for the Sorcery system from Pyramid #3/63: Infinite Worlds II by Jason "PK" Levine.

What's that you say? You're not a patron? It's a buck a month for the main goodies...that's less than the cost of a soda these days. You know, RPGs are better than soda. Just saying.

True enough, but this was over half old-hands at GURPS.

Gamemaster's Guidepost: Dungeon Fantasy CER-based Treasure

And I'm back. Still feeling a little under the weather, but that'll pass. Today I'm talking about TREASURE! And how to use my "It's a Threat!" article as a way to gauge how much loot your delvers should get. It's not as worked as the old "Treasure Type" rules from AD&D, but might be useful guidelines to newbie GMs.
