Default Help me out here and curse of necrophobia

Here is my question:

Player A has curse of necrophilia and the kneepads of allure at this point in the game. They are fighting a lvl 10 3,872 orcs and are making player B help to win. Player B uses a wandering monster to put an undead into the combat. Can player A use HMOH to wishing ring the curse and then force player B to keep helping after the curse is gone?

I don't think Player A could use HMOH on the wishing ring because they wouldn't be winning the battle at that moment, however Player A was arguing they could and that Player B was still helping even though the curse of necrophobia states that they cant fight undead monsters so they would have to run away imo.

(Moved out of 101 because there is a lot going on in this question.)

HMOH is designed to let you yoink someone's Item for its combat bonus or other effect that turns a losing fight into a winning one. It could be used to snag a Wishing Ring to negate a Curse that gives you a direct combat penalty, but not one that forces you to Run Away.
