Not really important, but might I suggest a title for this project that SJR once proposed for one of the linked pages: "Kromments."

I'd say that is a perfectly Krommulent suggestion.

Sorry about that, too. The last index I worked on was in 2004, but I prepared many before then, and I won't lie and say that it's easy to avoid errors. Since then, I've checked piles of PDFs on their way to release – but we generally do that at the pre-index stage (because fixes can alter pagination), and even when there is an index, checking every entry is roughly as time-consuming as reindexing, which would be too rich for our budget. Please do report errata in indices if you feel industrious. Thanks!
I truly believe collaborative editing (wiki) is the way to go. One extremely proficient person will never compete with hundreds of mildly proficient persons. Wikipedia proved it.

Hence my call for the wiki.

Or maybe a SJgames-hosted wiki? A great way to involve the community...

By the way, I really like the Kromment idea :)

Looks like some anonymous user has had the idea to decorate trait entries with quotations from literature, like this. I think that's clever.

I agree, it makes the wiki more appealing and so people will be more prone to read, if only for reading the quotes.

It's all right. You make up for it by having that particularly rare word in your sig, for when the forum search doesn't work and I have to use Google.

I try to remember to do so, but it's hard to remain motivated about errata when reporting them feels like throwing them into a black hole. There's remarkably little feedback on the process.

Nice one! Better than my method. So now, I'll search for this:

Code:
site:forums.sjgames.com hypermediocrity

I've wondered about the same. There were many older resources from back in the day, like the characters archive, that would now be suited to a wiki. And one problem that these fan-run wikis have had is competition with each other.

SJG running its own wiki would for starters incorporate the FAQ, and would have much tighter registration procedures than Wikipedia. Things could be tied to the fora, and the forum admins can boot folks off for the same reasons folks are booted off the fora.

Add

Code:
site:forums.sjgames.com malkavian
and

Code:
site:forums.sjgames.com marmalade
(Marmalade, I like marmalade.)

It might not be a bad idea to link the various authors forum accounts to wiki entries for their products.

That's asking SJG to take on a lot of administrative work, and the wiki has yet to demonstrate that it's all that useful. I believe it will be useful, eventually, if it can be extended and expanded, but as things are now, I'd rather see SJG put its efforts into putting out new products, or improving e23, or other things that actually make them money.
