See Basic p. 432, "Lethal Electrical Effects". "A victim who suffers any injury must make a HT roll at -1 per 2 points of injury suffered. On a failure, he falls unconscious for as long as the current is applied, and for (20 - HT) minutes afterward, with a minimum of 1 minute."

"Meteoric iron is immune to magic" -- DF1. Taking that literally (as literally as the line in the Lightning spell "Treat any metal armor as DR1 against this spell") means that even a coating of meteoric iron on top of the regular armor would provide complete protection against magical lightning. Just snatch your vehicle that way. Throw that coating on the tank shells while you're at it. Or Snatch a can of spray paint where the burnt sienna pigment was made with meteoric iron.

Alternatively, have a friendly mage cast Resist Lightning on the tank.

Also give your character enough metalurgy and engineer skills to modify your mental image of the vehicles this way, or you may not like the snatched results...

Is he from TL 7 or 8?

If he is from TL 8, he could give him a Galaxy S7 as present...

The best way would be something the mage would not recognise as a danger.
For example:

- Semtex under his toilet seat.
- Land mines under his bedframe.
- Car bomb (or carriage bomb).
- Introduce him to a drug. If he likes it, make the next fix an overdose.
- Invite for a ride in a TL 7 automobile. Drive it into a wall. Your seat belts works, his one not.

Sorry, but is has been a long day.

Mana Dampner 3, Switchable (for allies), a heap of area, and cold, hard steel.

I'm not so sure. As I understand it, the actual missile from a missile spell isn't actually magic. It's a mundane bolt of energy/matter created with magic. Full Stop.

Mana dampner's specific example implies a fireball will still hurt you.

Force Wall and Force Dome stop physical forces and missile spells but other magic goes through just fine, even magic creatures.

Your best option is probably to play a laser designator over the mage's eyes first and blind him

Why grab a tank when you can grab a bomb or missile? Add a bit of telekinesis if you're worried about placing it on target. A daisy cutter should do the trick nicely.

High-precision penetrating TK would be a good direct killer, too. It doesn't take a lot of force to pinch a brainstem, and magic doesn't protect against Psi.
