The "Dwarven" modifier is from DF1, p. 26, "Weapons" and can be applied to any 0U weapon, it isn't specific to halberds.

You don't see the Halberd on pg 272 of Basic?

They are there but you have to think slightly outside the box to see them.

After a brief perusal of Martial Arts: Spinning Attack, Targeted Attack (Polearm Swing/Vitals), Springing Attack, and Whirlwind Attack are the ones that I see offhand (the latter two cinematic techniques, but this is DF so "cinematic" is a given).

I may have missed a few.

Note that only impaling swings will be able to target the vitals. I don't think cutting attacks can.

This is true, but halberds have a swing impaling attack. :)

Why Springing Attack? That's one I haven't really ever seen used

Given that the OP doesn't just use a halberd, but also a flail and claws, I'd say the Springing Attack would apply to those, not the halberd.
