Re: What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
I have a copy of the original Car Wars game (in all its zip-locked glory!); purchased it oh, so long ago (1981) from a long-defunct bookstore in Renton, Washington.

Re: What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
I take it back. My rarest CW item are the kill stickers from way back when....84? My only regrets are that they didn't come in a black on clear plastic, and that I didn't put any on my car.

Re: What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
Probably some of the official but unreleased counters Phil Radley & Cyborg brought back from a convention in US .
Luminous Paint Clouds & Streamers , Pedestrians with heavy weapons , Street Furniture and a few Vehicular Counters like the Bastille & Tomahawk from AADA Vehicle Guide 'Late Arrivals' in ADQ #2/3 . A few black & white Trailers of various lengths , types & designs . Think they were done as tests & had minor defects . Still have them tucked away in a zip lock bag & not found similar on a quick Google search . MonkeyBoy uses a photocopy of one of the Peds in Military type clothing to represent his Brigadier-General .

Re: What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
The only one, found in a dusty bin a few years ago, in a gaming store that has weathered gaming and gaming and hobby changes all through the years and still stands in the heart of where Car Wars was created ..... Austin....
An AADA pin. Makes we wonder about the pin. Who made it, who wore the pins back in what day and why. |

Re: What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
It was probably mine. When I moved away from Austin those many moons ago, I accidentally left my nice leather jacket with an AADA lapel pin behind in a motel room.

Re: What is your Rarest Car Wars item?
Were any other Counters Sheets handed out at GenCon or other Conventions down the years ? There are some Racing Car & Oversized Vehiculars shown on internet search that I don't recall from any production releases ?
[Edit] Not seen this counter pack either : https://i.pinimg.com/236x/7f/15/36/7...el-support.jpg Would love to have them - especially with that crashed bus on it's side to represent Low Decker's usual position at end of a game ... X-D

I'd be willing to do scans of the bumper stickers I've got if there is interest from the SJG folks as well.
