Default Battlefields Rules Changes

I just went through the new PDF of the rules, Battlefields Edition, and other than the credits the only change I saw was the addition of the cold crater hex. Did I miss anything else?

That's pretty much it. I think there was one minor typo that got fixed too.

I spotted a few VERY minor graphical changes (The spacing of the letter 'O' in SCENARIOS on the page 3 title block and the drop shadow on the 'Missile Tank' counter on page 11 shifted slightly among others) that nobody but the pickiest of people would notice. On page 26 the Super Heavy record sheet appears to have been corrected. On the Battle Box version of the rules there are four boxes under the Antipersonnel stats, on the Battlefield version it has been changed to four to correctly match the stat. Other than that, the addition of Cold Craters, and changing the first page with new credits, a new description and moving the image of the Ogre and the bottom of each page to reflect that it's the Battlefields version of the rules it looks like nothing major changed.

Question for Drew.

Do you know if extra copies of the Battlefields rulebook will be available in W23, like the ODE rulebook once was? Or is it only available in the forthcoming Battlefields set?

Ah, good to know. I just added the Cold Craters to the margins of my Battle Box copy of the rules.

Nice to see a consistent depiction now of the AP on a SHVY.

Just checked the PDF for myself...that's a neat little addition.

For those of us who like to have extra hard copies of the rules, is there an official statement regarding what is and isn't permissible with regards to printing our own copies? I just looked through the various policies I could find and other than the fact that I know some PDFs explicitly state something about printing copies for personal use, I haven't found anything. Can you please help me out with a pointer to it? Having multiple copies of the rules when out and about is very helpful, but I want stay within the rules (no pun intended)...

From Warehouse 23 FAQ:

Q. Can I have a copy shop print up a copy of a file I bought?

A. Yes, you can have one copy printed for personal use, whether at home or through a copy shop. If the copy shop needs proof that you have permission, you can point them at this page, or write us at orders@warehouse23.com for official permission.
