Default Munchkin CCG Card List

Hi Guys is there going to be an official list of all the cards printed in the Starter sets and booster packs?

Would be nice to know for those of us that are completionists how many cards we could end up trying to find.

There are 304 cards in the core release. We'll be posting the card list in the next month as part of preparing for release to stores.

The first expansion (on track for May) has 124 cards.

Is the 304 card base set going to be a "core" set similar to the hearthstone basic set, where it stays usable and the various expansion sets cycle through? Similar to a core set in magic (back in the day) where it provides the base of the game, but cards cycle into and out of it as time goes on? Something else entirely?

In ways, yes. The core is the basics of the game, and we will keep the starters in print as long as necessary. The reprint policy we posted can help a little with understanding how often we will reprint the core boosters:

"the next core set will not reach stores until 2019."

So... new core set every year. Will that be mostly reprints, entirely reprints, all new, something else? That's what I'm trying to figure out.

In essence -- while the "starters" will be evergreen, will the large set be staple cards that will stay around (mostly) through reprints in future core sets, or will they be replaced almost wholesale at the end of each year? It's important, because it strongly affects how heavily a player will want to invest in the base set vs. expansion sets at any given time (but specifically when starting the game).
