The Theoi worlds are worlds highly similar to Homeline were a single provable appearance of a deity (or something that could pass for one) radically altered history.

Theoi-1 diverged when Athena and Poseidon destroyed the Spartan fleet at the battle of Aegospotami. The Thirty Tyrants never ruled Athens and Sparta was forced to free the Helots,

Theoi-2 diverged in 432AD when Brigid and Aengus greeted the returning Saint Patrick as he visited Ireland.

Negotiations between the Tuatha De Danann and the Church led to a friendly alliance. The local year is 783AD and Ireland is leading a European renaissance.

Theoi-3 diverges in 332BCE when Amun welcomed his son Alexander into Egypt and personally crowned him Pharoah. Alexander is now 120 years old and hasn't visibly aged since 332BCE.

Theoi-4 diverges in 1945 when Amaterasu prevented the Enola Gay from flying over Japan. She then took her complaints to FDR personally. He then detailed the Nanjing Massacre. In exchange for not bombing Japan or Korea Amaterasu made Japan surrender. Stalin refused the deal and attacked retreating Japanese troops. There was no sunlight in the USSR until Stalin turned himself over to the Brits and the Soviets made peace.

The local year is 1950. Japan has joined the USA as several states, the two societies are slowly trying to merge. The results range from the admirable to the hilarious.

Theoi-5 diverges in 1487 when Hermes, Apollo, and Athena, appeared to Pico della Mirandola and blessed his efforts. They also corrected his 900 Theses and suggested improvements to his Oration on the Dignity of Man. Hermes then initiated della Mirandola into the secrets of Magic. Then Athena taught della Mirandola both the Scientific method and how to do experiments.

The local year is now 1517. The still youthful della Mirandola has proclaimed the United Republics of Italy. His ally Machiavelli wrote the charter and aides in regularising the local constitutions. The Pope is furious but fears the wrath of Olympus. Still, wouldbe kings plot agaist the state and the people.

I've got one for you:

Theoi-6: In July of 1099, a figure claiming to be an angel appeared in Jerusalem and enforced peace in the city. The angel declared that the war offended the Abrahamic god, and after a short missive heard and understood by all present, it instructed the people to recognize the unity of their faiths.

It then walked among the people for several years, speaking to with anyone who asked, and provided a profound theology of a syncretic Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, along with a number of other related faiths. During this time, the angel granted secrets of miraculous healing to the newly-converted priests. The angel departed, and for a time, there was an astonishing peace. Many of the one-time crusaders settled in the region, and though there were cultural clashes and some political conflicts, things settled down.

Ten years later, orthodox forces that weren't in the region at the time are preparing a new crusade to end this heresy....

Theoi-7 diverges in 1865 when Coyote shows up in the room where Lincoln is dying and heals him. Then Coyote proceeded to bargain and make demands. Stanton, for once knowing he was out of his league held his tongue, Lincoln jumped at the deal and proved a sly bargainer even then.

Local year, 1890, America has moved brilliantly and quickly against all forms of racism, women have full legal equality, union rights and strong social welfare services are the norm in the USA as well. Progressive vital America is loathed by Europe's elites. The simple existence of a society of such freedom moving toward some form of socialism, even if not a form Marx anticipated, terrifies Europe's elites. Meanwhile, Europe's masses say if America can do that, why can't we? Something must be done.

As this is a Q6 world and Centrum wants a British world empire, there are strong forces moving in this world to crush America.

Theoi-8 diverges in 616 when Odin appeared to Eadbald of Kent soon after he was crowned king. He gave him three gifts, a long and glorious reign, heirs that would bring his kingdom glory for generations, and that fate would favor him in battle. Now in 1237 England remains proudly pagan and still sings the praises of Eadbald the blessed.

After Vishnu proved he was a deity he offered England a deal, India would except British rule and Britain would protect Hinduism and recover and mass print ancient Indian texts. Further details would be decided later.

The local year is 1795, Britain and India are a strong team, sure they lost America, Washington played it smart and they played it dumb, but this time France won't win. Hinduism and Buddhism are fashionable and embraced among Britain's elites. British cooking now looks and smells like India's. The fashions and styles of India are displacing British fashions and styles. The Church of England is debating whether or not the Vedas should be seen as merely holy and inspired texts or as canonical in their own right and coequal with the bible.

Levi was told that they agreed with the idea that the masses needed spiritual renewal in order to throw off their oppressors. All three deities worked to convince Levi that practicing Magic wasn't just quackery but a way to awaken the spiritual senses, greed was a trap to distract mages, but power was something the people legitimately needed.

The local year in this world is 1860. The Awakened Republic rules France and is rapidly restructuring the military. Britain is terrified of French wizards and ironclads. The Pope has fled Italy for Spain cursing the Risorgimento. Throughout Europe holy wizards rise to champion the people. Mages wise and noble offer Lincoln their aid.

Meanwhile, the elites begin to embrace darker powers. Satan has always favored the rich and the powerful.

Communard is the term for worlds where pre-Soviet socialism is vastly more important than in Homeline history.

Communard-1, the world that started the designation, diverges in 1870 when Louis Auguste Blanqui was in excellent health all year. Thus when Thies wanted to arrest him protect the rule and privileges of the elites he didn't know where he was and Blanqui was able to escape when they came looking for him.

With a firm and clear-sighted leader, the Paris Commune was able to by-pass many amateurish mistakes and become a national movement. The local year is 1881, France is socialist and functional.

Bismark guards his borders and allows others to panic. Socialist France means no one cares about Germany.

Britain is massively repressing the masses terrified of "Red Republicanism." The workers are beginning to like the idea of revolution.

Spain has closed her northern borders in terror. Radicals ignore this.

Russia seeks an alliance with the Pope and the Emperor of Austria to preserve Christian Monarchy.

War is likely soon.

It's hard to imagine a more ethically one-sided Civil War than IRL, but making the Southerners into human-sacrificing bloodthirsty Satanists might do it.
