Stealing a cursed item.
Myself and the old college boys got together on my vacation for a game of Munchkin. We were quick with our smartphones and this forum to smack down any rule bending shenanigans and all was well until we ran into the following.
I had the Kneepads of Allure rendered useless at the time by the Curse! Cursed Thingy. On his turn he entered combat that he could not win he played Help Me Out Here to aquire the Kneepads and compel a helper to join him thus winning the combat. His claim was that Help Me Out Here only took the Kneepads and not the adjoined curse as it specifies ONE item and that it functions the same way as looting the body after a death. Our counter was that much like a thief stealing an item with enhancers on it the curse stayed with the kneepads. Who is right? And a huge thank you to you guys for making my vacation home a blast! Re: Stealing a cursed item.
By the strict reading of Cursed Thingy, the Item that is Cursed cannot be stolen from you unless you die. So this question is moot.
