Re: Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game Discussion Thread
I don't have a review, but rather new armor loadouts to bridge the gap between DF 13 and DFRPG.

Re: Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game Discussion Thread
Speaking of which, is there any chance of getting DF 13 officially updated somehow? Not that your work isn't awesome, Rasputin. It would just be nice to be able to buy the formatted PDFs for printing.
On the topic of PDFs, am I right that the DFRPG PDFs won't be available until Oct along with the physical books? |

Re: Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game Discussion Thread
Updated how? The Dungeon Fantasy line uses the Basic Set armor, so making it use Low-Tech would make it incompatible with itself (and isn't actually trivial, since the costs of armor are significantly higher).

Re: Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game Discussion Thread
I think Stone Dog is wondering about DF pdf's being updated for the DFRPG. My impression is that the DFRPG uses it's own armor, which does include elements from Low-Tech.

Re: Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game Discussion Thread
DF itself should... probably stay internally consistent. I get that.
Still, it would be nice to have a DFRPG specific version of that particular utility. It would be a fantastic support document to have for new players. I can't get my players in Pathfinder (which I am increasingly sick of, for a moment of ranting) to look up... anything, really. Shopping is NOT something they dig much. The one player that IS into that, I think I would encourage to play the quartermaster of the group. For everybody else, a single sheet for each template detailing a standard kit with costs and proper weights would be very valuable to me. So, to be brief (too late), I'm not wanting "DF 13, now compatible with DFRPG!" so much as "Loadouts: Dungeon Fantasy." |

I thought they said: we want to give the physical product time to sell through our store partners first.
I would imagine 6 months to a year from now.

Re: Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game Discussion Thread
Never have I been happier about armor in GURPS! Alas that my funds were not sufficiently fluid to back the Kickstarter - I shall be vigilant for the physical product to appear in stores that I may purchase a copy.
