Does anyone still have any AADA artifacts? If you have AADA Charter Certificates, AADA merchandise, AADA Newsletters, and other related items, consider taking photos of them and uploading them to the Internet.

Chris Burke posted to Twitter the AADA Charter Certificate for his former AADA Chapter, the Driving Tigers/Road Wolves. I followed up the tweet with the posting of the AADA Charter Certificate for the Seattle Washington Autoduel Team.

Outing through @SJGames #CarWars & GURPS and other gaming materials when I found this: the AADA Charter Certificate for Drivinng Tigers/Road Wolves for 2041-42.

Thank you @mrburkemath for posting the DTRW AADA Charter Certificate. Here is the ACC for the Seattle Washington Autoduel Team (SWAT). Thank you @BudaScott @SJGames for the Certificate and mention in Pyramid Vol 1 No 13.

Did anyone get the AADA key rings advertised in ADQ 6/3? Would Car Wars and AADA key rings be items that would be useful in a crowdfunding campaign?

The Blaster was a dashboard-mounted sound effects device advertised in ADQ. I never saw it. Mobile device technology has greatly progressed over the past 30 years since The Blaster was produced. Would a mobile app of Car Wars-specific sound effects be a program Car Wars players would use?

All of the Mailer Covers for ADQ still need to be scanned and uploaded to the SJ Games Web site, either the Car Wars section or Warehouse 23. Car Wars players might be able to help with the project.

If anybody has an AADA patch(es) in good condition, I'd love to purchase any of them.

Didn't realize that they were out of stock!
I picked up two of them last year, I sport one of them on my work backpack/computer case... along with the Eye In the Pyramid patch. No one has any idea what they represent.
I could part with the other one if you need it. Or wait until CW KickStarter, I'd imagine a re-release of the patch at that point.

As for the Museum bits, we never had a registered chapter in the 80s or 90s... It's neat to see the ancient documents :)

How about the certificates handed out for Regional wins? I think I still have mine. (I just can't take a photo worth a darn -- maybe I can trundle up to Seattle sometime.... :) )

Blue Ghost,

Apologies for the inconvenience. The Twitter links are working for me when I am logged into Twitter and when I am not logged into Twitter.

You should be able to go to the Twitter accounts directly and search for the tweets with the images. I am doing this as I write this message and I am not logged into Twitter.

I can see the Twitter feed, but the counter sheets are kind of hit and miss.

Is this the key ring you were talking about? (Still in use today!)

Somewhere I have a couple Car Wars awards back from GenCon in the 80's. I think they were $5 gift certificates given out to winners of an event.

Herod:

Yes! There were two colors of AADA keyrings. Thanks for posting the photo of yours!

Photos of any of your 1980s Gen Con Car Wars awards would be apocawesome.

I wish they would bring those keyrings back. As you can see, mine is well worn after XX years(!)

I'll dig around in for the awards when I can. They are in a basement box of old 80's era stuff, of which I have a few. :P
