Re: More info on the upcoming Pocket Box project.
So we'll be seeing the Crash City version rather than Sunday Drivers, correct?
Also... on a side note: is there going to be any sort of FAQ update or dedicated forum mod? There is likely to be more than a few folks confused by the differences between the Car Wars Classic (4th edition) rules and the pocket box (1st edition) rules, not to mention the discussion of sixth edition. It might be prudent to proactively get some of these things in place as some of the differences are quite significant.

When the new edition is ready, we'll separate discussion of all previous editions to a subforum and let the wild west take control. If it becomes too wild, we'll close it down.

That said, I was also trying to suggest that it might be helpful to have an FAQ covering some of the differences between the editions (particularly the pocket box and Classic), since they are similar but have some significant rule differences that can cause confusion and trip people up. With a pocket box KS, the number of Car Wars players will go up, as will the questions.

I was mostly concerned that the upcoming pocket box release was going to lead to more version and rules confusion. Would you be open to community volunteers putting some of these things together for a sticky or something? We really do believe in this game and want these projects to succeed and for the fanbase to grow.

Re: More info on the upcoming Pocket Box project.
Truck Stop introduced the Mechanic skill and repair rules to Car Wars. Because these rules are in Truck Stop, The new Truck Stop Pocket Box should include, as an option, a reproduction of the Tool Kit included with the Autoduel CRPG by Origin Systems, Inc. :o)
