Default Style! [Martial Arts]

Other than Ultimate Style, which styles would be the best ones to use for the Style! Wildcard Skill? I was thinking Kalaripayat (high number of skills), Shaolin King Fu (high number of cinematic skills), and Ultimate Shootist (high number of optional skills). Which Style! Wildcard Skills would you allow in your cinematic campaigns or want to take for your cinematic character (I am assuming that Style! would require one of Gunslinger, Heroic Archer, Trained by a Master, or Weapon Master as a prerequisite).

Escrima is another good one.

Wing Chun seems a good candidate, with some fun cinematic stuff.

Master of Defense!

Not wildcard, but this might interest you. It's a sort of "Job Training" talent applied to MA styles.

Master of Defence would be my first pick. Another would be Armatura Equestris for its flexibility. Armatura has some nice cinematic skills for the foot soldier, and would allow heroic feats of endurance on forced marches, etc.

Longsword Fighting has a huge list of techniques so if you want a style that has a wide range of technical options, it's a good one.

If you believe the number of "required" skills associated with a style denotes how good it is there are several:

Hashishin! (a wildcarding of a 3e style) has 11 skills.

Masters of Defense Weapon Training! has 11 skills

Pao Chuan
! (a wildcarding of a 3e style): has 11.

Streetfighting! (wildcard of a 3e style) has 11,

Kung Fu! - every Chinese style there is. Likely well in excess of 11 skills
