Default Drop Kick

On pag 72 of Gurps compendium 2 one talk about the "Drop Kick". What is it?

It's a karate move. See GURPS Martial Arts, page 47.

I'm sure you're right, but this is solely an 3e GURPS naming artifact, since in common english usage a "Drop Kick" is actually when a punter or goalie kick the ball after dropping it from their hands.

No, this is not solely a 3e GURPS artifact.

The drop kick comes from "Professional" wrestling (and may pre-date that, but I don't have info that supports this).

Well in the context Roland mentioned (CII72 sidebar), Drop Kick refers only to the martial arts maneuver.
