The Llama PRESSIN is close to what the OP is looking for, but it's not disguised to look like a toy. It won't pass close inspection or a metal detector, but it doesn't look like a weapon in it's case and can be fired while remaining disguised.

A simple practice sparing match doesn't have to have witnesses...
But yeah, there are many more efficient ways to go about it.

AFAICT, the Thompson can't actually be fired from inside the case.

There are a couple of smgs that can be fired from inside a briefcase-shaped case, though.

Because you may have to get to the sparing site with it without raising any questions?
I know, stretching here, it's a very, very specific case for a possible PC who is prone to over-elaborate schemes.
Stick to the violin case I think. @:-)
Fun fact: I once got a chance to speak with Myriam Bedard, former bi-athlete, when she was just retired from the sport and before all the strange stuff happened to her. She told me she used to carry her rifle on the bus in a cello case to get to practice.
