You are running a game where the PCs are the descendants of the biological survivors of the dissolution. What survivng TL12 biological horrors and wonders would you have your PCs find during a campaign in such a setting?

Re: TL12 Biological Horrors and Wonders
One possible wonder (or horro, depending on your point of view) would be the Oliphant:
Oliphant [500] A semi-sapient creature derived from human genetics, the Oliphant was designed to be a highly efficient meat, milk, and fur producer, as well as a beast of burden. Since the dissolution, they have been herded by some of the human tribes, who refuse to eat their meat because of the sensitivity of the charges, not realizing that their taboos prevent them from accidentally engaging in cannibalism. Wild Oliphants will hibernate during the winter while tame Oliphants will sleep during the winter between meals. Attribute Modifiers: ST+190 (No Fine Manipulators, -40%; SM+6, -60%) [380]; DX+4 (No Fine Manipulators, -40%) [48]; IQ-4 [-80]; HT+4 [40]. Secondary Characteristics: SM+6; Per+2 [10]; Will+2 [10]. Advantages: Blunt Claws [3]; Damage Resistance 15 [75]; Enhanced Move (Ground) 1 [20]; Fur [1]; High Pain Threshold [10]; Longevity [2]; Metabolism Control 4 [20]; Night Vision 5 [5]; Reproductive Control (Female) or Penetrating Voice (Male) [1]; Temperature Tolerance (Cold) 10 [10]. Disadvantages: Cannot Speak [-15]; Quadruped [-30]; Restricted Diet (Herbivore) [-10] |
