Fairy Dust retail availability
I've recently discovered the numerous Munchkin products available (I've had the core Fantasy Munchkin set for a while now) and have been trying to pick up various and sundry things that seemed interesting. One of these is Munchkin Fairy Dust. I know I could order it online, but I have a local retailer that stocks most Munchkin products, and I'd rather save on shipping so I buy there. The problem is, they tell me that they can't get Fairy Dust. Are they simply mistaken, or is this product some kind of on-line exclusive at this point?

Re: Fairy Dust retail availability
No, it's still in print and all our distributors should be able to get it.

Let me know if you can't. I'm going up to Indy on Monday for some medical testing and I have to kill time in the afternoon so I can meet my wife for dinner. I always stop at a Game Preserve and I'm pretty sure they still have it; I can grab you one.

Re: Fairy Dust retail availability
I wonder if the issue is that the store would have to buy a whole box, not just one pack, from the distributor. Or, at the very least, that they were trying to get just one pack.

Of course, if that's the case, my next question would be, why is it the only one like that? |

I would think any of the boosters would have to come in a box from suppliers.

Re: Fairy Dust retail availability
That depends on the distributor.

Re: Fairy Dust retail availability
At Game Preserve, they usually just have one or two packs; I think they split what they get between stores to save money. I'm hitting Game Preserve tomorrow, as well as a rare trip to Comic Carnival east. I may just buy a pack anyway in case, if you don't need it I'm only out the $3 or $4.
