In a mixed set game, if I'm Russian (Impossible: Loyalty), does the Android's (Star: sidekick) ability to self-destruct for +10 more (or +12 total combat bonus) count as a "usable only once" card since he's no good after that?

I'm thinking the answer is "no" since it doesn't specifically say "usable only once" but maybe it's just an old printing?

My initial gut reaction was no. Minutes later, I'm still thinking no. Just because a secondary effect of a card would force it to be discarded doesn't make it usable once only.
