Anything going on?

Thinking about starting up a In Nomine game this fall (since college, really, since I played and having a bit of nostalgia; add to that a Francophile friend is going to run a 1-shot of INS/MV in July and there you go).

What's been going on in the IN world? Looks like the Line Editor hasn't been on the boards since last year, and there haven't been e23 items since Asmodeus (and a mention in the Metro of Madness). Checked the other day and the IN mailing list seems light on traffic, too.

Welcome back to the wonderful world of In Nomine! Part of the reason the mailing list is light on traffic is that many participants have been coming here instead, as I'm given to understand ... ;)

Basically, the game still has some very dedicated fans, but it hasn't been a high priority for the company recently in terms of resources. There have reportedly been PDFs in the pipeline for Marc and Zadkiel that were supposed to have come out in 2008 but the projects have been delayed. They've not been taken off the list, though.

Line Editor Elizabeth McCoy has had a lot of family commitments to attend to (and is part-time to boot, unlike the full-time Sean Punch for GURPS) and hasn't been hanging around here much lately. That said, her Web journal has recently mentioned a Project She Cannot Name that she is working on, so maybe something is on the horizon. (No confirmation that it's IN, but it seems likely.)

Meanwhile, the IN community here still manages to keep pretty busy. Come on in -- the water's fine! Bring friends! :)

EDIT: I now stand aside so that the rest of the community can correct any glaring errors I've made in the above. <grins>

And if I can pull this off, I may pull in my gaming group. I just have to wean them off of d20's. Wish me luck.

I'm prepping for a game based in Brighton and a larp in Bristol as and when family gets old enough to allow it (as least a year or two away but got venues to find and the like so not that far off)

No offense intended, My Lady. My reference to "dedicated fans" was meant to encompass new and old alike. (And when it comes to dedication, you *definitely* qualify!)

Naw, don't bother weaning them. Just get IN GURPS so they can keep their pretty little dice and still get drawn into the War. IN GURPS, the gateway drug.
