From GURPS Low-Tech. No equipment scaling for size, though you can houserule that back in.

I did a short comparison of GURPS vs DFRPG Slam damage values as a blog post here, with examples. Net effect is that Strength becomes more important than velocity if you use the DFRPG Slam damage, which I intend to do in all my future GURPS games.

Correct. Sorry I did not mention that in my example, my previous post mentioned that we use the fractions, even for values over 1, rather than round off.
So 1,28 means 1d plus the fraction 0,28 for another 1d-2. For us, anyway. We feel rounding off means most slam damages are the same. So it's mostly always a 50-50 situation. We like to see how a character build with a little extra Move or HP gives an edge.

I dont see a need for the equipment changes so it should all fit.
I've asked about this in the past. SJ Games doesn't consider keeping track of all the changes to be an effective use of their time, so if you want a comprehensive list of differences, you'll have to make it yourself.

Might be an effective/fun series of blog or forum posts, so long as it's basically not an exercise in pasting vast swaths of text.

I think I'd probably just let characters pick which of the two models they prefer. It's an interesting switch, but I don't want to nerf people built under old model

The point of this post is to round up the differences...but I also think pasting all the text...is probably not good for SJ Games. If a person wants the new stuff, maybe they should buy it....rather than have all the new stuff just posted somewhere.

That is why I didn't actually post the new slam rules just described them. I figured if we could get a good list of the rules differences, if could help people decide if they want to buy DFRPG for those rules. Or for those people that have DFRPG but prefer to run standard GURPS (like me), it would help us save some time figuring out which rules we might want to incorporate.

There's nearly nothing, actually. The slam rules and the coin values are the only really new things, that I have seen so far.

Weapon Master pricing is different, with an eye towards game balance in some cases.

Resistant to x is both priced and bought differently.

Outdoorsman is different, better value AND cheaper.

Temperature tolerance is very different.

Fright checks have gotten some love for how they've been revised.
