Point total approximations for mundane objects
I know this is a random question, but a player in my supers game is playing a reality/matter manipulator whose main ability is an Affliction with Advantage:Morph. But we haven't really had much of an idea of what the point total of an inanimate object would be, so I'm not quite sure what she is capable of turning a given object into.
I'm not looking for full stat ups, just an educated guess. How many points would a rock, computer, car, grain of sand, tree etc be? |

Re: Point total approximations for mundane objects
The DX 0, move 0, sessile, of most inanimate objects means that even with IT: homogenous, enhanced HP, etc point costs will be in the negatives.

Re: Point total approximations for mundane objects
To quote B85 under the Unlimited enhancement (the character does have Unlimited on their Morph?), "Most ordinary inanimate objects – such as bricks and toasters – are worth 0 points or less."
Details depend on the object in question. But most inanimate objects will have IQ 0, DX 0, ST 0 (unless they're machines like robots or cars). If you were to stat them out, they also tend to have a slew of disadvantages like Mute, No Legs (Sessile), No Fine Manipulators, and so on. That puts the "template" far enough into negative points that it's hard to get above 0, even with typical Advantages like Injury Tolerance (Homogeneous). |
