That is beacause you have familiarity with them and they are really very similar (my guess is about -2, except perhaps javascript bit more from the others)

But if you add Lisp, Cobol and Forth [not to mention Intercal.. 8) ] you may get really high unfamiliarity penalties(and a headache).

+2? It could be +6 for all I know - it's not something I wonder if I can do again upon reinstalling.I doubt either of us has even a 5% failure rate at this task. I certainly don't have a 20% failure rate on it. Not without an Unfamiliarity penalty, anyway.

Weird, but maybe. I doubt I have a point there (probably only a Familiarity), but who knows.

The point about logic is true. I wonder if it would be proper to model those skills on a structure similar to Ritual Magic (i.e. defaults exist but are limited, lots of Techniques etc.).

Yes, I study Cobol and Machine Languages on the graduate :-)

In fact, I made contact with 20 languages in my life, some of them trully beasts. Is that what I mean "-5 to -6 in the worses cases" edit quote.

Javascript is the more strange of all I mention in the prevoius post.

I too. I quite sure there is a excellent post about computer skills put here before I joined the list.
