Question on Running.

I have a firemans helmet that protects me from flame. While in combat with the Bullrog, and I run away, his bad stuff is "Flaming bullwhip! Take two hits!" Would the helmet protect me from this?

No, the Bullrog tells you what flame protection means in its case (a -4 penalty to the Bullrog), and it says nothing about reducing or allowing you to avoid its Bad Stuff.
