Default NPC Cards

I am looking for an NPC Card for GCA that includes DR and FP along with the normal stuff. I am hoping someone has already built one because I have no idea how to make one myself. Oh and if it fits on a 3x5 or a 5x8 index card that would be positively wonderful.

Thanks
Scott

I think that the standard NPC sheet ("npcsheet.gcs") is about as close as you're going to get at the moment. It has pretty much everything on you list, except for DR, unfortunately.

Your initiative cards might be worth looking at...

Ok, I'll take a look at them. What I was hoping to do was build a small file of NPC's already statted out. Something similiar to what John Wick mentioned in his "Play Dirty" articles.
Oh BTW I like to play dirty too. muhahaha!

Another question. Where would I go for the best instruction on how to edit and/or create an NPC card as above?

Assuming someone else doesn't come along and give you what you want first:
  1. Be able to program. Character sheets are written in Visual Basic Script (VBScript).
  2. The most up to date and comprehensive API information on the objects used by sheets to interface GCA's data can be found on the GCA Wiki, specifically the
GCA Character Sheet page. Certain bits are more complete than others, I definitely need to work on that tree some more, but the actual API docs for the Character object are fairly well along.

On that note, and with an eye to modifying the current npcsheet.gcs, what exactly are you looking for when you say DR? Just a simple DR field, showing the DR of the torso/some area of your choosing, or a DR table, showing multiple DR locations?

If it's the former, I could probably wedge it in there someplace for you fairly easily.

If it's the latter, you'd have to worry about traits being crowded out—it would largely be based on how many traits were on a given NPC.

I went ahead and updated npcsheet.gcs to add a DR field, among other changes. I don't know if that's all you need or not, but the current update might, at least, work for now. You can find it in the Updated / New Character Sheets thread.

That is almost exactly what I was trying to do. I tried to do it on my own but failed miserably...several times. I managed to get the "DR" but I couldn't seem to call the data from the char to print to the card. I'll look at what you did and see if I can learn something.

What I was trying to accomplish was putting the DR box from the charsheet under the stats but above the equipment list. It may have to be resized to fit in a way that makes effective use of the space.

One thing that doesn't seem to be working right is that DR in locations other than torso is not being displayed/printed on the card.
