The thing is: I use that, but there still are none of the Gengineered Human Racial Templates* (like Alpha, Helot, Diana, Avatar, etc..), which are what I am looking for. None of those options ever show up under my templates tab.

*Starting on pg. 66 of Bio-Tech.

Of course, it's a matter of taste, but I have to say that I kind of prefer GCS to GCA.

GCA is a nice software and it's well supported, but for being a paid software, it seems a little bit clumsy and slow to me.
It definitely IS way slower and more crash-prone than GCS.
GCS is also impressively supported (for being a free software) and it is more customizable. I guess it lacks some functions when compared to GCA, but it has some unique functions of its own, too (notably the "Container" feature which allows you to organize and group traits how you like, and to hide/expand trait groups very easily on character sheets).

GCA was very nice when it was a free software too (a few years ago, before SJG officially endorsed & distributed it), but now, honestly, I would not recommend it.
I'd rather support SJG by buying a couple more of their wonderful GURPS books, and use the free GCS, rather than using the same money to buy GCA...

Just a note, but GCA has been able to stack traits (and equipment) inside of each other for about 3 years.

GCA has that function too. Any trait can be made a "Container" by right clicking on it and selecting "Make Parent." Any trait can be put in the "Container" by right clicking on it and selecting "Make Child Of..."

EDIT: How is it that post sits there for an hour and Bruno Ninja's me to it by two minutes?

Seriously? I crash it all the time. What OS are you running it under? I've crashed it under 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 on multiple machines.

I have them in my copy. Do you have the most recent datafiles set (04DEC2009)? Are you loading the Bio-Tech .gdf?
