TFTools for GMs and Players
With the Kickstarter winding up as what I’d have to categorize as a smashing success, we will soon begin looking at the future. Of course, we all know you are going to want new GM adventures, programmed quests, setting packages and other written material by the best game writers we can find.
So how about TFTools to help GMs and players? The megahex tiles and GM screen are TFTools. What else would enhance your play? (Maybe leave counters / cardboard heroes / miniatures for a separate thread of their own. That’s a whole thing unto itself that deserves separate attention.) What do you need and want?

Re: TFTools for GMs and Players
I remember hand drawing a big hex sheet of poster paper (an excercise in geometry) and using a large sheet of acetate and a grease pencil to draw walls and other features. It worked well for larger set-pieces, but we had to be careful not to smudge the counters.
How about a clear sheet with megahexes marked off to lay over a regular (tactical) map? Edit: It was fun to use a huge tactical map. Longer ranges and distances gave a few more options than the in-your-face feeling of the wizard and melee maps. Last edited by tomc; 08-23-2018 at 07:24 PM. |

Some sort of transparent dry erase sheet with megahexes in it, so you can put a map underneath and scribble information on top. Chopped up into jigsaw-linked pieces so it fits in a box.
A rack that holds NPC cards, rumour cards, those hexagonal dungeon thingies from the other kickstarter, etc. |

Digital versions of the Character Pads. We could insert details and maybe even character portraits from a menu for printing.

Re: TFTools for GMs and Players
Dry-erase Square Megahexes and examples of mapping, maybe a set of "building" megahexes that can be used to create everything from some hunter's hovel, up to and including a large crossroads inn or small manor house.
A set of dry-erase character sheets for the players. More dry-erase megahexes -- including the "big room" that was inside Adv. Wizard back in the day. Also include several straight and winding sections of one-hex wide tunnels to allow GM's to create narrow hallways and tunnels. An indexed bestiary with both basic stats list sections and an alphabetized section including all creatures/plants and containing a detailed description, with illustration (and, ideally, one or more counters), for each creature/plant in the book. Form fillable PDF of character sheets and other helpful documents would both protect the IP and allow use on any platform (iOS, macOS, Windows, LINUX).
