I would have thought GURPS was the premiere universal roleplaying game for almost four decades at this point. At least three, certainly.

I think the text was taken verbatim from the 2004 release of 4e...

Fun fact, until about a few years ago I thought of GURPS as a bit of a johnny-come-lately upstart among RPGs as it wasn't released until a decade after the first ones...then it hit me that it hadn't been 1986 for about 30 years :-)
