Epic Dark ability

Can I use the Epic Dark Ability to win the game ?

Scenario :

I am an Epic Dark Elf on level 19 fighting a monster and I cannot win the combat and it's for winning the game. Obviously all other people will not help me, so I use the Epic Dark ability and make other player fight for me. If the other player wins, I get the levels and treasure, and therefore win the game.

I think you would be able to win that way, but the player you choose is able to try his hardest to be lower in combat strength than the monster or invite a Wizard to help, as they could Charm the monster to deny you your level.
