Text files from GCA
How do get GCA to create text files. I've done this with GCA previously but don't remember how. Any help would be appreciated.

File - Export
You have your choice of output format, including plain text. |

Re: Text files from GCA
If you choose the text layout.gce , there is a Social background section with Language, CF and TL.

That way, you will get equipement and combat stats that don't appear in the text export. |

Re: Text files from GCA
So there's no way to put in this information while your creating the character? Don't extra languages cost points? Thank's again for helping me. I'm not as familiar with the 4th edition as i was with the 3rd.

To add language to a character : Select the tab "Advantages" (bottom of the window ) Select the category "language" (or subset "language spoken" or "language written" ) (the field should be just below the 2 row of icons and start with the value "All categories") You can now add/remove language to the character. Native one start at the highest level (for free) Non-native one start at the broken level. You may raise/lower the level with the 2 arrows next to "Edit", bottom right This is the same principle for everything :) There are other ways to get the same result, like clicking on the advantage header in the quickview. Have fun ! |
