Default Looting a room??

I'm having a difficult time understanding this. For an example: You kick open the door and pull up a door card. You dont get a monster. Does that mean you get to loot the room iof there is no monster? and when you loot the room do you draw a card from the door deck? not the treasure?

Default Re: Looting a room??

If you do NOT face a monster when you Kick Open The Door, you can either Look For Trouble by playing a monster from your hand or Loot The Room by drawing a face-down Door card.

(Exception: If you are playing with the Listening At The Door rule from the Faster Play Rules, draw a Treasure instead.)

You don't Loot The Room if you fight a monster, either by Kicking Open The Door or Looking For Trouble.
