Pocketbox PDF
I'd like to see a pdf of the pocket box version of CW on e23, if that is possible.

Re: Pocketbox PDF
I think the thing you're looking for is "Mini Car Wars", it's going for $1.00.

Re: Pocketbox PDF
I believe Fred was thinking of the instruction book and attachment (with road sections, vehicle design data and map of the Harshman Memorial Autoduel Arena) from Pocket Box Car Wars made available on e23. I second this idea.
Mini Car Wars is awesome for introducing new players to the game. If you want more detail after Mini Car Wars but do not want to enter the complexity of Car Wars Compendium 2.5, Pocket Box Car Wars or Classic Car Wars (1990 small box edition) is the next logical step.

I second this vote! It needs to be done! It'd make more people get into it.

Re: Pocketbox PDF
Dear Fred,
I agree with you Pocket Box Car Wars is still a good set of rules, although I highly recommend you replace its 10-phase Movement Chart with the 5-phase Movement Chart in Car Wars Compendium 2.5.

Of course Midville and Truck Stop added tons of more stuff to the game. |
