Redirecting a Monster
A kick down the door card revealed a platinum dragon on a level five player. It will not pursue that player because it does not pursue players of level. After reading the card a few seconds after, a second player tried to redirect it to another player. Because it does not pursue the original player, it leaves. As it is the last monster in the combat, combat ends instantly. Is it possible to redirect this monster before that happens?

Re: Redirecting a Monster
Does Not Pursue, means that the player doesn't have to roll to Run Away from the monster. The combat takes place, the player has to declare that he doesn't want to attempt the fight or that he is running away, in which case escape is automatic. There is ample time during this process for a player to play a card to redirect the monster to fight someone else.
