Default Phoenix Character Sheet Request

Is it possible to modify the section that shows Load Outs to include the individual weight of parent items along with it's total weight of all children it contains?
This would make it easier to verify weights when inputting GURPS character equipment into a VTT with a manual GURPS character sheet.

Unless I misunderstand what you want, within the Load-Out Options sub-section—under Equipment/Load-Out Options—you will find the Print items' per unit cost/weight and, for containers, the contents' cost/weight in the load-out block? option.

Enabling that should get you what you need.

I'm running into a problem using this sheet. I have the current version of GCA4, I purchased it, not a pirate copy. Just wanted to state that up front. I downloaded it from the site and dropped the two files into the sheets folder of gca documents. It shows up in the drop down menu when I'm running gca but when I click on that sheet to use it nothing happens. I've tried closing the program and restarting it, shot I even tried restarting my computer and it still isn't pulling up the phoenix character sheets. What did I screw up? It sounded so simple but I messed up someplace. Gotta be what happned.

First. Please don't necro threads if the new content is unrelated to the original—no, simply involving Phoenix really doesn't count.

That said….

By "when I click on that sheet", does that mean print, print preview, quick view, something else?

Similarly, does "nothing happens" mean absolutely nothing at all or simply not what you expected?

One common source of it's not working is the lack of a printer driver. Whether you're attempting to print, print preview, or simply want to use the quick view GCA requires a working printer driver. Do you have one installed?

PS: If you haven't already done so, looking at the GCA4 FAQ might be helpful.

Sorry about being vague. When I try the print preview it only lists the stock version and text but phoenix is listed in the character options tab. Now it works on one character but not the other that I have, which is what really confuses me. The other character shows the phoenix layout perfectly in preview and when I print it. When I try to use it for the new character phoenix isn't working. I've tried reinstalling GCA4, all the updates and phoenix again and the same thing happens. Works on one character but not the other.

Tools -> Options
There are two tabs there, the "Default Character Options" and the "Current Character Options" tab.

Set the "Default Character Options" to use Phoenix; any time you create a new character the "Default Character Options" will be copied into that character and used for that character from then on.

For each existing character that you've already created you will need to go into the "Current Character Options" tab and set it to use Phoenix for the Character Sheet and Preview Pane.

Eric
Are there any plans for a new release of the Phoenix sheet?
