Using Cardboard Heroes

I experimented with Cardboard Heroes but switched back to either counters or figures (depending on the game and circumstance) because I felt the stand up cardboard markers are sort of 'piggy in the middle' that retains the disadvantages of both (light and easily disturbed like cardboard chits; bulky and tricky to organize in crowded spaces like miniatures) without fully realizing the advantages of either.
