High Pain Threshold: Not vs Fire, Sunlight and Staking?
For a vampire with weakness: Sunlight; How much of a limitation would "Not vs injury from Fire, Sunlight and Wooden Piecing amd Impaling to the heart (-5 to hit) -??%" be on High Pain Threshold [10], Very High Pain Threshold [15], Immunity to Pain [30] and/or Injury Tolerance: Unstoppable [10]?
How much of a limitation would "Only vs injury from Fire, Sunlight and Wooden Piecing amd Impaling to the heart (-5 to hit) -??%" be on Low Pain Threshold [-10]? |

Re: High Pain Threshold: Not vs Fire, Sunlight and Staking?
for "not versus" you could float 'Bane' (GURPS Horror) from DR
for "only vs" you could float "Limited" from DR's box in basic set. The complications are when you have more than one thing. For "Limited" that would just be Either/Or limitations... In theory you could just stack different versions of Bane but that might be too much of a discount (much like stacking acccessibilities) so that could use some fine-tuning. For example, I can demonstrate the problem by comparing two approaches to the same thing with B46/H14 Bane: Common is worth -10% say you took it five times (burning/corrosion/crushing/impaling/piercing) to get -50% This is effectively the same as Limited Defences: Common (Toxic Only) which should only be worth -40%. Which is why maybe if someone is taking multiples banes there should be diminishing discounts? B10/C9/C8/I7/P6 for example would total exactly 40% so a -1 per additional Bane seems to work out for the Common class. I guess it should be 0.5 increments for Occasional and 1.5 increments for Very Common. |
