When Player A is in combat and winning, can the other players talk to each other about interferring with the combat? I.E. Player B asks Player C, "Do you have anything to help if I mess with Player A?"

I do it..... i do it like a boss... i dropped 3 +10 cards cause my friend had double headed and being a lizard guy alchemist put the monster at 238 needless to say thats what makes the game awesome!!

Also i use jacked up tactics like i'll help you on your next combat if you help me kill this guy.... or my personal favorite i'll give you my next 2 treasures to help me kill this scumbag!!! ( evil maniacal Laugh)

Lizard Guy and Alchemist's powers only double "useable once only" items, so monster enhancers wouldn't be effected by those abilities.

Monster enhancers can be used multiple times?

No. They are one time use, but they are not items like the abilities require. For a card to be an item, it must have a gold value listed in the bottom corner, or say "no value".

The Rules also mention a few things.

The first implies that table talk is allowed (personally I feel the game wouldn't be as much fun if it wasn't). The second lets you know that collaboration between players in the way you're describing is perfectly okay :)
