After Pyramid’s closure, the next logical worry would seem to be: will GURPS continue to rate both a line editor and an assistant line editor on staff?

Based on the discussion, yes. At least thats the current plan.
It really is up to the fans to continue to blog about it promote it however we can but its been tha way for awhile.
Truth is Pyramid did not promote GURPS that much since you already had to know about it to get it. What it did do was supply us with articles that would never have been printed otherwise because of the size.
However it pretty much had its own full time editor in Steven Marsh (Though he did other things too) and some stuff had to be run by Kromm or PK, plus the art and layout people. So that does free up resources.

Essentially, at this point what you've got is three Editors (Kromm, PK, and Marsh), two of which are also regular writers for GURPS. If anything this may free up Kromm and PK to do more writing while Marsh picks up more editing work for actual GURPS supplements.

GURPS News is out, updated the Spec entries.
Hall of Judgement does not really fit the normal format since it does not flow through the SJG pipeline. However several stages are similar so I listed it as prepress based on my reading of the bulletins and updates. FYI Thank you for those.

The big takeaway for me though is we have the author announced for the Social Engineering item who is Kelly Pederson. Congrats!

Welcome! I expect Hall of Judgment to release late this week, or early next.

Weird, wasn't expecting Pyramid today but there it is. Probably to boost the Kickstarter

That, and to get an issue out the door ahead of Gen Con.

So to those looking for a clue the W23 wish list will be updated after GenCon, Kromm already made the changes they just need to be pushed through. So this is a good chance to see if we can spoit the changes which may indicate upcoming material or just give authors new guidelines on what to shoot for.

W23 update is up.
Changes I noticed were few but several lines added additional books to their reading list. At least one item vanished from the wish list. Cant say what though, spoilers.
Anything you all noted?
