Holiday Boosters
I have a massive fantasy deck, but I haven't added my various holiday expansion to them. I can't decide between adding them into the deck permanently or keeping them seperate and only mix them for themed games.
Any suggestions? Thanks |

Re: Holiday Boosters
Well, we got Munchkin Legends, and keep all the holiday boosters permanently mixed with THAT, since they fit pretty well thematically. Before we had Legends, we only mixed them into the Fantasy deck for holiday themed games.

Re: Holiday Boosters
When I wound up with multiple copies of the base Munchkin set, I built one deck that was just the basic set plus its boosters - no expansions. The idea was that if you were a fan on a tight budget, this is what you could end up with. It makes a pretty solid Christmas deck.

Re: Holiday Boosters
I keep my holiday cards separate. If you play with all of them, they get too diluted and the chances of the cards working together decreases.
I would love if they released a new holiday booster for every holiday every year! That way, as time goes, the holiday themed games would be VERY themed. A man can dream. |

Re: Holiday Boosters
We just played with the Holiday cards I have- no races or classes - just the holiday cards (except Love Shark and Halloween Pack which I don't have yet).
Easter, Halloween, and Christmas actually worked well together and made for some tough battles... I was just about to cause to be a 'Santa' the 'Bunny Cth. monster' but I was able to win before needing to drop a level 20 nasty on someone. We need more treasure, races, and classes in the deck for it to play better. With a deck that size I'm thinking 3 of each Race/class and 1 each of the cards that allow combining races and classes 1/2 breed, 1/3 breed... super/ultra... and maybe one wishing ring.

Re: Holiday Boosters
Like others, I just mix it with a base set (Legends) and it seems to work well. If we keep getting Christmas themed boosters, I may end up adding in Faun and Games.

Re: Holiday Boosters
I tend to mix all my X-Mas cards with a handful of cards from other sets to balance it out a bit. I only keep one race though: Elves!

Re: Holiday Boosters
I mix it with my Zombies so that the zombies can eat Santa. ;)
