Default The Elder Scrolls - Blades

A question for The Elder Scrolls connoisseurs.

How would you model a necessary package for a character which would be a member of the Blades?

Specifically, a member of Blades during the Third Era?

In any case, I came to a conclusion they would definitely need some sort of Rank (1, maybe 2), accompanied by Status+1 given. Wealth (Comfortable) is also in order, as well as Claim to Hospitality (all Blades Temples) [10]

How about Patron? Legal Enforcement Powers? Legal Immunity? Secret? Duty? Enemy (although i doubt this one)?

Need some response on this.

Cheers,

Marko

Blades would have a rank system within the Blades but since they are the Emperors Guard they would be able to command lesser troops. They often acted like a kind of secret police in the third era looking out for plots against the empire and emperor. They would have a claim to hospitality in the blades temples across Tamriel and probably in most major cities. They would also have some level of legal enforcment power as well.

heres a bit of text i found in the elder scroll wiki

Third Era
Height of Power
Cloud Ruler Temple in Cyrodiil.

This continued well into the Third Era where they reached the height of their power. By this time they had grown into a much larger organization, stretching to every corner of Tamriel. Agents were of every race. They were merchants, thieves, craftsman, mages, and warriors, all acting as spies, protecting the Empire as needed, and operating in secret.

They often acted alone, but they also met in secret fortresses across the land. The most well known being Cyrodiil's Cloud Ruler Temple, where it was said they hung the swords of those slain protecting the Emperor.

Other maps speak of Wind Scour Temple located under the great expanse of Hammerfell's Alik'r Desert, Sky Haven Temple located high in the mountains of western Skyrim, and Storm Talon Temple located east of Wayrest in High Rock.

The organisation would also be a patron providing equipment, also a duty possably extremly hazardous would be appropriate blade agents under cover would have a secret and the mythic dawn could be considered an enemy around the time of the oblivion crisis as the are the protecters of the last heir of the emperor.

What would be their agenda during the War of the Red Diamond? I.e. how to model their Patron, since two sides are fighting for the throne?
